Overview:
Paskal is a unique thermal bath of the city that offers a complete experience of the ultimate relaxation and comfort that people usually search for when visiting a thermal bath or spa area. The spa was built in 1989 and is the youngest spa in Budapest. Paskal provides an amazing experience once you submerge in one of its many thermal pools that are of the perfect temperatures to make you forget about the worries of the world.
This is a local pool, nothing more exciting than that. It's nice enough, but nothing like the others in Budapest.
Budapest is the place for thermal water. Paskal bath is a newly refurbished bath in Budapest, in a neighbourhood, so you cannot get the historical buildings and feeling of the city. It has a very logical built setup- separate children area with 2 pools, a bit sparated area for wellness ( geothrmal sauna as well, loved it) and also an outside pool area. The food is very basic, so do not fancy for something very special. Being a neighbourhood facility, it is also a great place to see how people from Budapest get a bit of cill-out.
We were there with our 1 year old but earlier I have visited the place already with my aunt and her friend and this place is really nice even with children or adults. The spa area is not allowed for small children but I am sure the outside pool and kid's pool is more than enough for them anyway :) the price is ok, not too expensive, the parking is free if you give your ticket to the cashier. Our daughter was way too excited about this place I will try to take her there again :)
