Overview:
The history of Lukacs Bath reveals that the geothermal hot spring waters coming from deep underground have been used by the St John’s knights in the 12th century. Lukacs Bath has its strengths and specialities, like the many Gratitude Tablets or stone plaques on its walls saying thank you for the healing power of the geothermal waters, or the Himalayan Salt Room for curing respiratory problems. Lukacs Bath may give a small taste of why Budapest is the City of Baths. Come and exeprience it yourself!
Lukacss Spa truly transports you to a serene oasis where stress dissipates, leaving you rejuvenated and at peace.
he baths have several different pools, sulphur pools, outdoor heates swimmingpools, , outdor wellness with bubles, massage mats, mammut showers, all kinds of saunas. The layout is quite confusing, and everything is written in Hungary, but the staff is very helpful. Slippers and a swimmingcap are obligatory. Most users are Hungarian, which makes it a very authentic experience
Thank you so much for your kind review!
We didn't know what to expect when we turned up at the Lukacs Baths but had a wonderful 3 hours here. Changing rooms clean and organized and the range of indoor pools, saunas and steam rooms was enough so it didn't feel over-crowded. There was an outdoor swimming pool but then we found the outdoor Jacuzzi pools and wave pool which were just great. We were able to lie back and gaze at the moon while being massaged by jets of hot water, in the winter night. And we used our Budapest Card to get in so free entry. Really enjoyed our time here and wished we'd booked a massage too!
