Overview:
The history of Lukacs Bath reveals that the geothermal hot spring waters coming from deep underground have been used by the St John’s knights in the 12th century. Lukacs Bath has its strengths and specialities, like the many Gratitude Tablets or stone plaques on its walls saying thank you for the healing power of the geothermal waters, or the Himalayan Salt Room for curing respiratory problems. Lukacs Bath may give a small taste of why Budapest is the City of Baths. Come and exeprience it yourself!
Had a very pleasant few hours in the baths, really a locals hang out spot which was lovely!! But everyone from the staff to fellow bathers were friendly and helpful. Someone mentioned the smell previously! The smell is sulphate in the baths, so I would expect it, u also get use to it! Hired towels there and bough bathing caps. The towels were lovely and soft and fluffy! I didn’t go into sauna world as we were tight on time

Typical Hungarian bath! Recommended. Early hours (5-6am) is the best timing for understanding the feeling of this habit of Buda citizens.
Thank you so much for your kind review!
