The Hungary Parliament building is a must see when you visit Budapest. We walked along the river from the fashion street and it takes about 25 minutes to the building. It is probably the most grand parliament building I have ever been. It's a tourist attraction but surprisingly there was not a lot of people on a Tuesday morning. We took a night river cruise (15 Euro for 2 hours and with a drink) which highlight was the slow sail in front of the parliament building. We also went to the other side of the river to see the building from afar and from the Fisherman's Bastian.

Well worth seeing. Very impressive building! The tour guide was knowledgeable and presented the history of the building in an entertaining manner.

This is a very nice tour to take. Buy the tickets ahead of time as it is very popular. You will tour the inside of the building that is beautiful. When you take a tour of the old city you will tour outside.
