First off, take all the negative reviews with a pinch of salt as I was somewhat worried going to this spa after reading such negative reviews but what I experienced was nothing like what I’ve read in here. First off we walked from the city centre on the Pest side which took us no more than 40 minutes stopping for breakfast in the way, of you find walking a difficult task then you can use the multitude of public transport on offer in Budapest. On arrival we found the staff to be pleasant and allowed us to share 1 cabin between two which we found to have ample space, however if you are on the larger size you may want to have your own cabin. The cabins were very easy to locate and if you have a basic grasp of English then you will find all the signage to be quite straightforward and shouldn’t encounter too many difficulties locating the baths & changing areas. There were plenty of pools varying in temperatures, we didn’t use the outdoor one as it was closed. There was also steam rooms, saunas, cold plunge pools and general swimming pool which requires a cap to be worn. We arrived around 09:40 and found it to be very quiet, some pools had just 3 people inside, plenty of room however as we got closer to midday we noticed it was becoming increasingly busier so we recommend going early for a more relaxing time. The venue is great, the staff are friendly, I wouldn’t hesitate to return again and lesson learnt don’t take all the negative reviews too serious!
