Leírás:
The history of Lukacs Bath reveals that the geothermal hot spring waters coming from deep underground have been used by the St John’s knights in the 12th century. Lukacs Bath has its strengths and specialities, like the many Gratitude Tablets or stone plaques on its walls saying thank you for the healing power of the geothermal waters, or the Himalayan Salt Room for curing respiratory problems. Lukacs Bath may give a small taste of why Budapest is the City of Baths. Come and exeprience it yourself!
Important Information
- Your ticket is including a locker, where you can leave your valuables
- Please bring your own towels and slippers, at the spa they can not provide them
- If you like to use the swimming pool, please bring your own swimming cap
The Lukacs Thermal Bath is located within walking distance of the Margaret Bridge - admission was free, having purchased a Budapest 72hr Card. The day was a little cold to use the two normal swimming pools - but the thermal bath and warm pool, were fantastic - a great little lazy river and jacuzzi in the warm pool was the main highlights!
Thank you for your kind words!
The courtyard pool is warm and inviting. In a figure of eight shape, there are two parts; one has an outer circle which flows quickly and enables swimmers to float around unaided, the inner circle has a seat around the outside with Jacuzzi type blasters that switch on automatically and give an amazing massage. The other half of the pool has beds that have the same effect as well as bubble jets in the middle of the pool.
Thank you for making the time to write a review for us!
During the day we visited the city and around 6 pm we went to relax. Compared to the others, it is a small structure of Hungarian baths, frequented mainly by locals and few tourists. Good organization and great price.
Thank you so much for your kind review!
