It is the nicest smelling of the main big three thermal spas that I know. The reception area, once you walked in, smells like the soap and fragrances from their wellness centers. The main swimming area inside was small. Half of the pool was used for water aerobics and you have to swim in circles on the other end if you want to do laps. On the other end of the swimming pool near the deep end is the entrance to where they do massages and pass that are the saunas and the other thermal baths. It did take a while to locate because the sign postage isn’t clear and doubly not clear if you can’t see without your glasses. The thermal pool was fairly hot and it’s pretty crowded but it wasn’t a bad experience.

We had very high expectations of The Gellert Spa as it has a very good reputation! However, after being to the Schenchyi Spa only a day earlier we were really underwhelmed and suprised at how small The Gellert is. The small size makes the Gellert Feel elite, however it would be difficult to spend more than a few hours here. The staff were friendly and the facilities were clean. You MUST wear a swimming cap to access the most impressive, indoor pool.
