Overview:
Relax and enjoy a wonderful day in the historical bath, Gellért Spa, decorated with the world-famous Zsolnay porcelain and mosaics that not only you will, but the Knights of St. John used to adore and to heal in the mineral rich thermal water pools.
We were lucky enough to be staying at the Gellert Hotel which is adjoined to these baths. Lovely and relaxing. Several thermal heated pools, all different temperatures. Couple of different steam rooms and saunas. After all the walking in Budapest, these were great for the muscles. Reasonably priced too. Don't need to wear a swimming cap unless you going in the main pool. This place is a must for a Budapest visit

Easy access. Spoke English to assist you. Got a cabin for changing. Different temperature thermal pools and an icy one. Showers & hair dryers available. So relaxing. Beautiful interior.

We visited as a group of friends, it is quite a maze and we found it difficult to navigate. The staff were quite unhelpful and don’t seem to like tourists (as do the locals - who came into the same sauna as us and started talking about us amongst themselves about us!) also you are not allowed in the main swimming pool unless you wear a swim cap... It’s not the best thermal baths in Budapest, but worth seeing
Thank you for your kind words!
