Overview:
Relax and enjoy a wonderful day in the historical bath, Gellért Spa, decorated with the world-famous Zsolnay porcelain and mosaics that not only you will, but the Knights of St. John used to adore and to heal in the mineral rich thermal water pools.
So yes really enjoyed it....beautiful building. Real hot temperatures in the thermal pools. Downside. After changing was hard to find our way around. Did find swimming pool and as we thought thermal pool...stayed fr ages in it. Swimming pool way too cold tho. So went to FIND sauna n steam room and there we see the real thermal pools.....a lot we spoke to had similar experiences....
Thank you so much for your kind review!
Beautiful spa, several pools with different temperatures. Puzzled by some reviews where people could not find their way around as it's all signposted in several languages and there are many helpful hosts to guide you if necessary. Paying a bit extra for a changing cabin is useful, then you can lock all your clothes and belongings in the cabin without faffing about with a locker. Take two towels, slippers and shower cap from your hotel or flip flops and a bathing hat.

We went to the baths and ended up spending much of the day here relaxing. It is quite cheap but worth booking in advance. The baths are spacious and are an Art Deco playground of architecture. There are steam rooms, cold pools, swimming pools and four thermal pools heated to different temperatures. Also within the complex is a quite decent restaurant and bar if you wish to have some food midday without leaving the baths. Would highly recommend this to any visitor to Budapest.
