Overview:
Thermal water in the Budapest area has been used at least since the ancient Roman times. The first modern open-air bath of Budapest, the Palatinus, opened on Margaret Island in 1921. At the time Palatinus had the largest pool in all of Europe. New indoor areas were created with the reconstruction: a cute pool for kids, one with thermal water for the adults, and some new saunas with an ice cold immersion pool. Boost up that circulation!
A beautiful island in the middle of the Danube, fantastic parks ,stunning musical fountains cafes , aquaparks a fantastic day wandering around the island weather amazing would highly recommend to anyone visiting Budapest!

Went here at the end of our trip after racking up quite a lot of walking miles in exploring the city and what a way to end it! Wonderful historic Turkish baths, plunge pools and saunas with a wide variety of temperatures to ensure you find just what you need to hit the spot when it comes to your relaxation and recovery. Not to mention a great view from the rooftop pool which is clearly a big attraction. Couldn't recommend highly enough.

Great water park - clean, so many beautiful pools, fun slides, different temperatures and great waves. Puzzled as to why wasn’t busier given incredible weather. Great value too and loved the locker wristbands.
