Visited on a bright day but the baths were very warm. Staff were not so friendly and don’t speak much English and were not so helpful.
Thank you so much for your kind words!
We’d read these thermal baths were the best looking architecturally and not as touristy as the Széchenyi baths. We went after lunch and whilst there were a number of people there it did not seem too busy. Taking your own flip flops and towel saved us renting them plus we saved extra by opting for one cabin (private changing room) and sharing that. There are a number of pools and steam rooms within the building so make sure you go for a wander to find them all. We began upstairs in the outdoor pool (in the rain) before coming in to find four pools at 36C and one at 40C. There’s also steam rooms and a couple of 15C plunge pools. Extremely relaxing afternoon.
Thank you so much for your kind review!
First visited in 2001. It’s a lot more expensive and commercialised now. However well worth a trip the architecture is amazing. The saunas & steam-rooms are great. The 40 degree pool isn’t one you can stay in for long. If only they could build pools like this today.
Thank you so much for your kind words!
