Descripción:
The history of Lukacs Bath reveals that the geothermal hot spring waters coming from deep underground have been used by the St John’s knights in the 12th century. Lukacs Bath has its strengths and specialities, like the many Gratitude Tablets or stone plaques on its walls saying thank you for the healing power of the geothermal waters, or the Himalayan Salt Room for curing respiratory problems. Lukacs Bath may give a small taste of why Budapest is the City of Baths. Come and exeprience it yourself!

had a great time at the baths. There were spacious lockers once you entered. The entrance fee without a changing room and just a locker room does also include changing rooms within the locker room. There are also showers which is a nice way to end the trip. The bath itself is so warm and cozy, and so relaxing. The saunas were also very nice. It was so easy to just spend a couple of hours here. Even in November there are people that visit which makes it quite pleasant. We arrived around 2 pm and there were many locals. Young people our age mid 20s - 30s started arriving once we left which was around 4-5. There is also a cafe that sells food and drinks including beer.

Lukacs looks very unassuming from the outside, the building is rather dilapidated and the door is barely marked, but it's delightful on the inside. Not exactly a hidden gem since you get free entry with a Budapest card, but definitely wort a visit, and in our opinion better than the grander and more famous Gellert and Szechenyi baths. The sauna village is really good, you do need to take note of the (pictorial) signs telling you what you need to wear (or not wear) in different places. The outdoor pool is enclosed in a courtyard and is lovely, especially after dark when it's lit up rather magically.

Hey guys! We stayed three days at Budapest and every day we've visited a new thermal Bath! Lukacs was our third Bath after Szechenyi and Geller and in our stark opinion it's the best one! Treatment-wise exactly this bath are what you are looking for! Bath is clean and tidy!Visitors are mostly people in age over 50! The building is old but in decent condition! So, if you aren't looking for fun and plosh and pampered conditions this bath will suit you perfectly! Everybody enjoy and be healthy!
