have been to many baths in Budapest and this one is definitely my favourite as it keeps some local spirit and you can meet here a lot of locals. A perfect place to feel the real Budapest bath. The bath has separate days for men and for women and no swimsuit is required. The weekend is mixed and you need to bring the swimsuit. Spa area has five pools with different water temperature in the main hall and a little pool with cold water in the back. There are also two saunas: steam and dry with different temperature sections. Massage is possible to book as well for extra charge. If you expect some fancy-shmancy modern service, this place is not for you. if you dare to come, do not forget to bring your towel and flip-flops.

It is hard for me to accurately rate this bath because I have not tried other venues in Budapest for comparison. I would say that for me it was a bit of a disappointment because it is rather crowded and not a very plush experience, but then I guess that's maximum what a pubic bath can offer...? On the plus side, there are a number of baths and saunas to try, and generally the place is at max cleanliness for such traffic. There are generally three areas for which one can buy separate tickets or combine them all. I'd say that the full ticket is not necessary, and if you are on a budget and/or short on time I'd recommend either just the saunas/hot wellness pools if you don't plan to swim, or add the pool. The alternative is the Turkish bath, but all three are not necessary. If you want a massage, plan and book ahead, as it is most likely not available on the spot. Read less

This seems to be more of a local Bath, there are a few tourists. It is clean, neat, organized and nice. For thermal, they have sauna(not real hot) and Turkish steam baths (very hot), plus 5 temperature pools from 28 to 42 degrees Celsius. Massages are available. I am going back to try the pool and the upper deck bath (great city views) You need to be specific if this is what you want to see. Gotta love the little aprons they give the men to wear!
