Overview:
Relax and enjoy a wonderful day in the historical bath, Gellért Spa, decorated with the world-famous Zsolnay porcelain and mosaics that not only you will, but the Knights of St. John used to adore and to heal in the mineral rich thermal water pools.
I was slightly reluctant to visit the baths as I don't like being in water that much but was persuaded to come along with the rest of my party. I must admit I didn't want to get out of the waters in the end. The building is lovely with various pools at different temperatures, one was a little too hot for me but I could use all the others. The facilities are very good, I would recommend paying a few pence more and have a cabin to change and leave your belongings in. You do not need a swimming cap unless you actually go into the swimming pool. We also took our own towels which you do need around the pools and a sarong or robe. The pools are well worth a visit, highly recommended.

We had such a lovely experience at these baths. The changing rooms were large and relaxed, the baths were beautiful and not too overcrowded. There were several different thermal baths all of different temperatures - the 40 degrees one was delightful. These baths are typically Hungarian and a perfect activity for tourists. In my opinion, it was a more relaxed experience than the Széchnyi baths and better value for money. Less noise and cleaner.
