If you want to immerse yourself in local bath culture and the handful of historic spas Rudas Bath is for you! In a city full of bathhouses, Budapest’s medieval Rudas Thermal Baths are among the most popular. Established as early as the 16th century at the foot of Gellert Hill, the traditional Turkish bathhouse features a swimming pool, six therapy pools, a sauna, and a rooftop Jacuzzi, plus massages and other spa services. Make your own way to Rudas Baths, located right on the Danube!
Important Information
- Your ticket is including a locker, where you can leave your valuables
- Please bring your own towels and slippers, at the spa they can not provide them
- If you like to use the swimming pool, please bring your own swimming cap
We went to the bath with my wife and I to go up to the Jacuzzi on the terrace to see the Danube. Waiting a little while at the entrance is a good value if you plan to sit 3 hours or more and enjoy all the amenities (jacuzzi, saunas, baths, massages, sleeping or eating areas, too many pools with different temperatures each and a 25-acre swimming pool) Very good and hi tech lockers for your stuff. Expensive if you take flip flops there, swimwear and more. Worth it. Pretty clean and helpful everyone. Night bus next door to go or return.

These baths were very relaxing. The men's only section was fantastic and comfortable. I would recommend for a group of friends.

Different sauna and bath options, Olympic size pool for avid swimmers, and the authentic Turkish bath with all its amenities for the sentimental and romantic types.
