If you want to immerse yourself in local bath culture and the handful of historic spas Rudas Bath is for you! In a city full of bathhouses, Budapest’s medieval Rudas Thermal Baths are among the most popular. Established as early as the 16th century at the foot of Gellert Hill, the traditional Turkish bathhouse features a swimming pool, six therapy pools, a sauna, and a rooftop Jacuzzi, plus massages and other spa services. Make your own way to Rudas Baths, located right on the Danube!
Important Information
- Your ticket is including a locker, where you can leave your valuables
- Please bring your own towels and slippers, at the spa they can not provide them
- If you like to use the swimming pool, please bring your own swimming cap
The price of admission is average. The environment is clean, the lawn is well-kept and shaded. Sports facilities are good, the children's theme park is of a high standard and is located away from the spa pools.Compared to the number of visitors, there are few spa pools.
We spent only two hours but we made the package of the thermal baths. We left for the airport, full of shame about not spending all day and not having paid the upgrade to visit the whole SPA.
Thank you so much for your kind review!
I loved this place . Nice high bath under beautiful ottoman Dome style. I went on Thursday and it was accessible for only men . For naturist men or women, this is the best voice for you in Budapest . Forget about other over pricy, cheesy and very touristic baths
